1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our Services. By using FiXZEP, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.

2. Account and Registration

To book services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide true, complete, and up-to-date information.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Services and Bookings

FiXZEP facilitates the booking of home repair and maintenance services (for example plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, cleaning, and painting) through its platform. We connect you with technicians and service providers operating in the OMR, Chennai area.

• Booking: When you place a booking, you agree to the selected service, time slot, and pricing shown at checkout. We will use reasonable efforts to fulfil your booking but do not guarantee availability of any specific technician or time.
• Access: You must provide safe and lawful access to the service address and ensure that the premises are suitable for the requested work.
• Cancellation and rescheduling: Our cancellation and rescheduling policy (including any fees) is set out in the app or website and in our refund policy where applicable.

4. Payments and Pricing

You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your bookings at the rates displayed at the time of booking. Payment may be collected upfront or as otherwise indicated. We use third-party payment processors; your payment data is subject to their terms and our Privacy Policy. Taxes, if applicable, will be shown at checkout. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account or collection action.

5. Refunds and Disputes

For service-related disputes (for example quality of work or incomplete service), please contact us through the app or at support@fixzep.com. We will work with you and the technician to resolve issues in good faith.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Harass, abuse, or harm technicians or other users.
• Provide false information or impersonate any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers/networks connected to the Services.
• Scrape, copy, or misuse any content, data, or intellectual property of FiXZEP or third parties.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services if you breach these Terms or for other legitimate reasons.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FiXZEP (and its officers, directors, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or any service provided by technicians. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to FiXZEP for the relevant booking in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We act as a platform connecting you with service providers; the actual performance of repair and maintenance work is the responsibility of the technician or service provider, subject to our policies and any applicable warranties.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FiXZEP and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the FiXZEP platform (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by FiXZEP or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
